Target Information
RB-like 1은 retinoblastoma 1 (RB1) 유전자 산물과 유사한 서열과 기능을 가지며, 세포 주기 조절에 관여하는 종양 억제 단백질로 알려져 있습니다. RB1과 RBL1은 모두 adenovirus E1A 및 SV40 large T-antigen과 복합체를 형성할 수 있으며, 비인산화 상태에서만 결합합니다. 또한 두 단백질 모두 E2F 결합 부위를 포함하는 세포 주기 관련 유전자의 전사를 억제할 수 있습니다. 이러한 유사성으로 인해 RBL1 역시 종양 억제 역할을 할 것으로 추정됩니다.
