Target Information
EPHB3 is a receptor tyrosine kinase belonging to the ephrin receptor family. Members of the Eph family play crucial roles in biological processes such as nervous system development, angiogenesis, and neural synapse formation and maturation. Ephrin ligands and Eph receptors exhibit reciprocal expression in vivo, and nearly all Eph receptors and ligands are expressed in developing and adult neural tissue. Ephs and ephrins are key regulators of angiogenesis.
