Target Information
THRAP3 is a 955 amino acid nuclear receptor-associated protein and a member of the Thyroid hormone receptor associated proteins. It contains a LISH domain and serves as a 150 kDa subunit of the large multiprotein complex TRAP, contributing to the structural maintenance of the fibrillar center and dense fibrillar component in the nucleolus. THRAP3 plays an important role in transcriptional coactivation and interacts with DKC1, nop5/nap65, and fibrillarin. Northern blot analysis indicates TRAP150 is ubiquitously expressed across human tissues.
