Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs and Western blots, less than 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant human IL-10 R alpha is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
- Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody by the LAL method.
Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene is a receptor for interleukin 10. It is structurally related to interferon receptors and mediates the immunosuppressive signal of IL-10, inhibiting synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines.
This receptor promotes survival of progenitor myeloid cells through the IRS-2/PI3K/AKT pathway and activates JAK1 and TYK2 kinases upon stimulation.
Two transcript variants (one protein-coding, one non-coding) have been identified.
