Target Information
IL-15 (Interleukin 15)은 T세포 및 자연살해세포의 활성화와 증식을 조절하는 사이토카인입니다. IL-15와 IL-2는 공통 수용체 서브유닛을 공유하며, 상호 경쟁적으로 작용하여 CD8+ 메모리 세포의 수를 조절합니다. 또한 IL-15는 JAK kinase 및 STAT3, STAT5, STAT6의 인산화를 유도하며, 세포 사멸 억제 단백질 Bcl-xL의 발현을 증가시켜 세포 사멸을 방지할 수 있습니다.
IL-15는 T 및 B 림프구, 자연살해세포, 대식세포, 단핵구의 성장과 분화를 조절하며, 면역 반응, 이식 거부, 자가면역 질환의 병태생리에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 또한 류머티즘성 관절염, 건선, 폐 염증성 질환 등 다양한 염증성 질환과 관련이 있으며, IL-15 중화가 치료적 효과를 보일 가능성이 제시되고 있습니다.
