Target Information
Factor I, a serine protease, is a regulatory component of both the alternative and the classical complement pathway. It is synthesized as a single chain precursor of 88 kDa and processed into the active form composed of two disulfide-linked chains: the α-chain (50 kDa) and the β-chain (38 kDa). The plasma concentration is approximately 35 µg/mL.
