Target Information
AFP (Alpha Fetoprotein)은 태아기 동안 난황낭, 장관, 간에서 생성되는 주요 혈장 단백질입니다. 성인에서 AFP 발현은 간세포암종(HCC)이나 기형종과 관련이 있으며, 유전적으로 AFP가 지속적으로 발현되는 경우도 있습니다. AFP는 혈청 알부민의 태아형으로 알려져 있으며, 두 유전자는 염색체 4상에서 동일한 전사 방향으로 인접해 있습니다. AFP는 단량체, 이량체, 삼량체 형태로 존재하며, 구리, 니켈 이온, 지방산, 빌리루빈과 결합할 수 있습니다. 양수 내 AFP 농도는 신경관 결손(척추이분증, 무뇌증) 선별 검사에 활용되며, 혈청 내 AFP 상승은 간세포암, 기형암, 대장암, 췌장암, 생식세포종양 등과 관련이 있습니다.
