RPS6KA2 (RSK3) serine/threonine kinase는 ribosomal S6 kinase (RSK) 계열의 구성원으로, 여러 성장 인자에 대한 세포 반응에서 신호 전달 중간체 역할을 하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, 특히 폐와 골격근에서 높은 수준으로 존재합니다. p90 ribosomal S6 kinases (RSK1–4)는 ERK/MAPK cascade의 하위 구성원입니다.
