Target Information
ERCC1은 DNA 복구 과정에서 5' 절단을 담당하는 구조 특이적 엔도뉴클레이스의 비촉매성 구성 요소입니다. SLX4와 함께 DNA 교차결합(interstrand cross-links, ICL) 복구의 첫 단계를 담당하며, 세포분열 중 미처리된 DNA 병변을 처리하여 세포 분열 실패를 방지합니다. 또한 SLX4와 함께 DNA 이중 가닥 절단의 상동성 기반 복구(homology-directed repair, HDR)에 필요합니다.
