Target Information
CD105 (Endoglin) is a type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It exists as an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Upregulation of endoglin expression has been observed in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, indicating its role as a proliferation-associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity, but not TGF-β2.
