Target Information
STK4 (MST1)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로, 세포자멸사(apoptosis)에 관여할 수 있습니다. Caspase 절단 후 핵으로 이동하여 염색질 응축과 DNA 절편화를 유도합니다.
STK4는 Hippo 신호전달 경로의 핵심 구성요소로, 세포 증식 억제 및 세포사 촉진을 통해 장기 크기 조절과 종양 억제에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
이 경로에서 STK3/MST2와 STK4/MST1은 조절 단백질 SAV1과 복합체를 이루어 LATS1/2를 활성화시키며, LATS1/2는 YAP1 및 WWTR1/TAZ를 인산화하여 세포 증식 관련 유전자 발현을 억제합니다.
STK3/MST2와 STK4/MST1은 성숙 간세포의 증식 억제, 간 줄기세포의 비활성화 유지, 종양 형성 억제에 필수적입니다.
