This antibody is a monoclonal mixture of FITC-conjugated CD2 (clone T6.3, isotype IgG2a) and PE-conjugated CD7 (clone MG34, isotype IgG2a).
Target Information
Natural killer (NK) cells in teleosts and their evolutionary homologues are a subpopulation of lymphocytes distinct from B- or T-cells. NK cells act as key effectors of innate immunity by releasing cytokines that modulate other immune functions. Monoclonal antibodies have been used to identify surface antigens on NK cells, enabling classification of NK cell subsets. The Cluster of Differentiation (CD) system standardizes NK cell antigen nomenclature.
