CD10 (Common Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia Antigen, CALLA)
CD10은 다양한 생리활성 펩타이드를 비활성화하는 중성 메탈로엔도펩티다아제(neutral metalloendopeptidase) 활성을 가진 세포 표면 효소입니다.
이 단백질은 림프모구성, 버킷, 및 여포성 생식 중심 림프종 세포, 성인 골수의 미성숙 B 세포, 만성 골수성 백혈병(CML) 환자의 세포에서 발현됩니다.
또한 유방 근상피세포, 담관, 섬유아세포, 신장 및 장 상피세포의 솔가장(border)에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
CD10은 글루카곤, 엔케팔린, 서브스턴스 P, 뉴로텐신, 옥시토신, 브라디키닌 등 여러 펩타이드 호르몬을 절단 및 비활성화하는 100 kDa 크기의 type II 막관통 당단백질입니다.
CD10 유전자는 45 kb 이상 길이의 단일 복제본으로 존재하며, 5' 비번역 영역에서 대체 스플라이싱이 발생하여 4개의 mRNA 전사체를 생성하지만 코딩 영역에는 영향을 주지 않습니다.
CD10 기능 이상은 Spinocerebellar Ataxia 43 및 Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease와 관련이 있습니다.
