The Ion AmpliSeq™ Library Kit 2.0 is designed for rapid preparation of amplicon libraries using Ion AmpliSeq™ ready-to-use panels and custom primer pools, for sequencing on the Ion Personal Genome Machine™ (PGM™) System.
This LV version is optimized for large reagent volumes, ideal for automated or manual DNA library preparation protocols, and replaces the previous non-LV version (Cat # 4478378).

Scalable Multiplex PCR Reactions

Ion AmpliSeq™ 2.0 technology enables scalable multiplex PCR reactions from 12- to 3,072-plex in a single well using just 10 ng of starting DNA.
Ion AmpliSeq™ panels and primer pools allow highly multiplexed PCR amplification of thousands of genomic target regions with superior coverage uniformity and specificity, without the need for specialized microfluidics PCR platforms.
Primers contain proprietary modifications enabling removal of primer sequences during library preparation for efficient target assessment during sequencing.
Custom Primer Pools can be designed via the Ion AmpliSeq™ Designer software (www.ampliseq.com).

Barcoded Library Preparation

The kit includes reagents for generating amplicons with Ion AmpliSeq™ primers and preparing barcoded libraries using:

• Ion Xpress™ Barcode Adapters (1–96 kits)
• IonCode™ Barcode Adapters (1–384 kits)

Barcoded libraries can be pooled and loaded onto a single Ion chip, minimizing sequencing time and cost while allowing accurate sample-to-sample comparisons.

Easy and Flexible Protocol

• Plate-based format supports automation and high-throughput workflows
• Library preparation completed in as little as 3.5 hours using 10 ng DNA per PCR
• Compatible with DNA from various sources, including FFPE tissues
