Target Information
Dicer는 이중가닥 RNA(dsRNA) 엔도리보뉴클레이스로, 짧은 dsRNA 매개 전사 후 유전자 침묵(post-transcriptional gene silencing)에 중심적인 역할을 합니다.
이 효소는 긴 dsRNA 및 pre-miRNA를 21–23 뉴클레오타이드 길이의 siRNA 및 miRNA로 절단하여 RNA 유도 침묵 복합체(RISC)가 상보적 RNA를 분해하거나 번역을 억제하도록 유도합니다.
RNA 간섭(RNAi) 경로는 이동성 및 반복 DNA 요소의 전사체 제거뿐만 아니라 바이러스성 RNA의 분해에도 관여하며, miRNA 경로는 특정 유전자 발현 조절에 기여합니다.
