Target Information
EFEMP1 유전자는 세포외기질 당단백질인 fibulin 계열의 단백질을 암호화합니다. 이 단백질은 반복적인 EGF 유사 도메인과 C-말단 fibulin-type 도메인을 포함합니다. EFEMP1은 악성 교종에서 발현이 증가하며, 종양의 공격성과 관련이 있을 수 있습니다. 또한 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 Doyne honeycomb retinal dystrophy와 연관되어 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체 변이도 보고되어 있습니다.
