Target Information
IRAK3 (Interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase 3) is a serine/threonine kinase that belongs to the IRAK protein family, essential for Toll/IL-R immune signaling pathways. It is primarily expressed in monocytes and macrophages and acts as a negative regulator of Toll-like receptor signaling. IRAK3 plays a critical role in innate immunity and is linked to immunocompromised states during sepsis. Mutations in IRAK3 have been associated with susceptibility to asthma.
