Target Information
ADCY2 (Adenylyl Cyclase 2) belongs to a family of membrane-associated enzymes that catalyze the formation of cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), an important secondary messenger. This enzyme is insensitive to Ca²⁺/calmodulin and is stimulated by the G protein beta and gamma subunit complex.
