Target Information
Cell division cycle associated 2 (CDCA2, Repo-Man)은 세포 주기 관련 단백질로, anaphase 시작 시 mitotic chromatin에 단백질 인산화효소 1 (PP1)을 모집합니다. 이는 세포 증식에 필수적입니다. CDCA2의 C-말단 Ser893 잔기의 Aurora B에 의한 인산화는 단백질을 억제하고 prometaphase 및 metaphase 동안 확산된 위치로 이동시킵니다. PP2A에 의한 탈인산화는 CDCA2/PP1 복합체 재형성을 위해 필요합니다. 이 복합체는 chromatin 결합 및 histone H3의 Thr3, Ser10, Ser28 잔기 탈인산화에 관여합니다. 또한, CDCA2/PP1 복합체는 핵막 재형성 및 M/G1 전이 과정에서 중요한 역할을 합니다. CDCA2와 importin beta, Nup153의 상호작용은 CDK에 의한 CDCA2 N-말단 영역 인산화에 의해 음성 조절됩니다. DNA 손상 부위에서 chromatin으로부터 CDCA2의 방출은 DNA 손상 반응 활성화를 촉진하여 DNA 복구 과정에 관여할 수 있습니다. 연구 결과 CDCA2/PP1 복합체는 암 진행에도 관여할 수 있으며, CDCA2의 발현 증가는 흑색종, 신경모세포종, 편평세포암, 활막육종 등 여러 암에서 예후 인자로 작용할 가능성이 있습니다.
