Target Information
GLE1은 진핵세포에서 mRNA가 핵 밖으로 효율적으로 수송되도록 하는 필수 인자로, 핵공 복합체(NPC)와 결합하여 RNA 수출을 조절합니다. Inositol hexakisphosphate (IP6)와 함께 DEAD-box helicase 계열 단백질인 Dbp5를 활성화하여 mRNP 리모델링을 유도합니다. GLE1 유전자의 돌연변이는 mRNA 수출 결함과 관련된 질환을 유발할 수 있으며, 최소 3개의 isoform이 알려져 있습니다.
