Target Information
NEDD4L is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that transfers ubiquitin from an E2 conjugating enzyme to target substrates. It inhibits TGF-beta signaling by promoting ubiquitination and degradation of SMAD2 and TGFR1. NEDD4L also regulates internalization and degradation of various membrane channels (ENaC, Nav, Kv, EAAT1, CLC5) and SGK.
