ADCK3 serine/threonine kinase는 효모 ABC1과 유사한 미토콘드리아 단백질로, ADCK 패밀리에 속합니다. CABC1은 전자 전달 막단백질 복합체에서 기능하며, ABC 수송 단백질군과는 관련이 없습니다. 이 유전자의 발현은 종양 억제 단백질 p53에 의해 유도되며 DNA 손상 반응 시 증가합니다. 발현 억제 시 p53 유도 세포자멸사를 부분적으로 억제합니다. 또한, 대체 스플라이싱된 전사체 변형이 보고되었습니다.
