Target Information
RPN2는 조면소포체(rough endoplasmic reticulum)에만 존재하는 type I integral membrane protein입니다. 이 단백질은 N-oligosaccharyl transferase complex의 구성 요소로, nascent polypeptide chain의 Asn-X-Ser/Thr motif에 고만노스 올리고당을 결합시키는 역할을 합니다. 또한 yeast oligosaccharyl transferase subunit SWP1과 서열 유사성을 가집니다.
