Target Information
ATP1B2 is the non-catalytic component of the active enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP coupled with Na⁺/K⁺ exchange across the plasma membrane. The beta-2 subunit mediates cell adhesion between neurons and astrocytes and promotes neurite outgrowth.
