Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The AKR1A1 gene encodes an aldo/keto reductase enzyme, also known as aldehyde reductase.
It is involved in the reduction of biogenic and xenobiotic aldehydes and is expressed in virtually all tissues.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, all encoding the same protein.
