For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CDH4 is a classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily. It encodes a calcium-dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein composed of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region, and a conserved cytoplasmic tail. Studies in chicken and mouse indicate roles in brain segmentation, neuronal outgrowth, kidney, and muscle development. CDH4 can form stable cis-heterodimers with cadherin 2, providing evidence of heterodimerization among cadherins. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified for this gene.
