MycoSEQ Assay Service is a fast and cost-effective way to verify the absence of mycoplasma in your cell lines. This service leverages the MycoSEQ Mycoplasma Detection Kit, a real-time PCR assay designed and validated to meet the requirements of European Pharmacopeia Chapter 2.6.7. The primers were designed using a proprietary bioinformatics pipeline to detect >90 mycoplasma species with high specificity and no cross-reactivity to closely related bacterial species.

How the MycoSEQ Assay Service works:

• You send a pellet with two million cryopreserved cells to our laboratory for processing.
• We prepare a DNA template with the PrepSEQ Mycoplasma Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit.
• We process the samples on the QuantStudio 12K Flex Real-Time PCR System.
• We analyze your data with AccuSEQ Real-Time Detection Software.
