Target Information
TCP-1 theta는 CCT(chaperonin containing TCP1 complex)의 theta 서브유닛으로, 진핵세포질 내에서 풍부하게 존재하며 새로 합성된 단백질의 수송과 조립에 관여합니다. 분자 샤페론은 ATP 가수분해에 따라 단백질 접힘을 돕고, TCP-1 theta는 BBsome 복합체 조립 및 섬모 형성과 관련된 단백질 수송 조절에 역할을 합니다. 또한 actin과 tubulin의 접힘에도 관여하며, 완전한 CCT 복합체는 이중 링 구조의 8개 폴리펩타이드로 구성되어 있습니다. CCT는 세포 내 VHL 종양 억제 단백질의 접힘에 중요합니다.
