For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.

Target Information

The FBLIM1 gene encodes a protein containing:

  • N-terminal filamin-binding domain
  • Central proline-rich domain
  • Multiple C-terminal LIM domains

This protein localizes at cell junctions and links cell adhesion structures to the actin cytoskeleton.
It plays roles in:

  • Assembly and stabilization of actin filaments
  • Modulation of cell adhesion, morphology, and motility

Additionally, FBLIM1 localizes to the nucleus and may influence cardiomyocyte differentiation through interaction with the CSX/NKX2-5 transcription factor.
Alternative splicing produces multiple isoforms.
