Target Information
Neurogenin 1은 기본 helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 단백질로, 세포 유형 결정에 관여하는 전사 인자입니다. NeuroG1은 신경 발생(neurogenesis) 과정에서 전사 활성화 인자로 작용하며, 신경 줄기세포가 성상세포(astrocyte)로 분화되는 것을 억제합니다. 또한 CREB-binding protein 전사 복합체를 astrocyte 분화 관련 유전자에서 분리하고, gliogenesis에 필수적인 STAT 전사 인자를 억제함으로써 astrocyte 분화를 방해합니다.
