Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on the sample size.
The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

P2Y12 belongs to the family of G-protein coupled receptors. This receptor family includes several subtypes with overlapping pharmacological selectivity for adenosine and uridine nucleotides.
P2Y12 is involved in platelet aggregation and is a potential therapeutic target for thromboembolic and clotting disorders.
Two transcript variants encoding the same isoform have been identified. Expression has been reported in platelets, spinal cord, and many brain regions.
ESTs for P2Y12 have been isolated from B-cell/lung/testis, brain, embryo, prostate, eye, kidney carcinoma, and colon carcinoma libraries.
