This IA6-2 monoclonal antibody reacts with the heavy chain of human immunoglobulin D (IgD). IgD is co-expressed on the surface of mature naive B cells with membrane IgM and also exists as a soluble form in blood serum. It associates with the B cell receptor and participates in signal transduction upon antigen binding.

Each product contains:

• 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
• 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometry using normal human peripheral blood cells.
Use 5 µL (0.2 µg) per test (100 µL final volume). Cell number can range from 10⁵ to 10⁸ cells/test.

NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for compatibility.

This conjugate ships with CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01), which improves staining performance.
Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails prior to combining with cells.
For single-color controls, use 5 µL of CellBlox Blocking Buffer per 100 µL of cell sample containing 10³–10⁸ cells.

NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology, based on novel nucleic acid dye structures engineered for optimized fluorescent signatures with reduced spillover and spread.
