Target Information

Prohibitin은 진화적으로 보존된 유전자에서 유래하며, 세포 증식의 음성 조절자로 작용하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 종양 억제 인자로 기능할 수 있으며, PHB 유전자의 돌연변이는 산발적 유방암과 관련이 있습니다. Prohibitin은 3’ untranslated region 길이가 다른 두 가지 전사체로 발현되며, 긴 전사체는 증식 조직과 세포에서 더 높은 수준으로 존재하여 전사체의 3’ untranslated region이 조절 RNA로 작용할 가능성을 시사합니다.
