Target Information
The Golgi complex is essential for sorting and modifying proteins exported from the endoplasmic reticulum.
The GOLM1/GP73 protein is a type II Golgi transmembrane protein involved in processing proteins synthesized in the rough endoplasmic reticulum and assisting in their transport through the Golgi apparatus.
Expression of this protein is upregulated in response to viral infection.
