Target Information
CAMK2A (CaMKII alpha)는 세린/트레오닌 키나아제로서 신경 세포 기능, 유전자 발현, 탄수화물 대사, 세포골격 기능, 칼슘 항상성 등 다양한 세포 기능을 조절합니다.
Ca2+ 및 calmodulin 존재하에서 threonine 286의 자가인산화에 의해 활성화되며, calmodulin 의존 활성에서 독립 활성으로 전환할 수 있습니다.
CaMKII는 세포주기 및 전사 조절에 관여하며, 수상돌기 가시 형성과 시냅스 형성, 신경가소성, 골격근의 근형질세망 Ca2+ 수송 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
또한 뉴런에서 actin 세포골격 재조직화 과정에서 actin 필라멘트를 결합 및 번들링하여 구조적 역할을 수행합니다.
