Recombinant Human Eotaxin-3 is an 8.4 kDa protein containing 71 amino acid residues, including four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.

Target Information
Eotaxin-3 (CCL26) is a small cytokine in the CC chemokine family. It regulates migration and tissue localization of cells expressing CCR3 receptors.
It is chemotactic for eosinophils and basophils, binding to CCR3 on their surface.
Eotaxin-3 is expressed in heart, lung, ovary, and endothelial cells stimulated by interleukin-4.
The gene encoding Eotaxin-3 is located on human chromosome 7.
Eotaxin-3 induces migration of eosinophils and basophils at concentrations approximately 10-fold higher than eotaxin.
