Target Information
CXCL1, CXCL2, and CXCL3 (also known as GROα, GROβ/MIP-2α, and GROγ/MIP-2β) are members of the CXC subfamily of chemokines.
Mature CXCL1/2/3 proteins bind with high affinity to the IL-8 receptor type B and act as potent neutrophil attractants and activators.
In vitro, processed forms GRO-α(4–73), GRO-α(5–73), and GRO-α(6–73) exhibit approximately 30-fold higher chemotactic activity.
