Target Information
IRF3 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다. DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천면역 반응에서 핵심적인 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha, IFN-beta 및 IFN-stimulated genes (ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 정상 상태에서 세포질 내 비활성 형태로 존재하며, 바이러스 감염이나 double-stranded RNA, Toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 활성화됩니다. IKBKE와 TBK1 kinase에 의해 인산화되어 구조 변화, 이합체화 및 핵 이동을 거쳐 CREB binding protein과 결합하여 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성하고 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자 전사를 활성화합니다.
IRF3 유전자 돌연변이는 감염 유발성 급성 뇌병증(herpes-specific encephalopathy)과 관련될 수 있습니다.
