ALCAM(CD166, activated leukocyte cell adhesion molecule)은 면역글로불린 수용체 아형의 구성원으로, 세포 외 영역에 5개의 immunoglobulin-like domain(VVC2C2C2)을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 T-cell differentiation antigen CD6과 결합하며, 세포 부착 및 이동 과정에 관여합니다.
여러 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변형이 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
