Target Information
APC10 is a highly conserved component of the Anaphase Promoting Complex/Cyclosome (APC/C), a cell cycle-regulated E3 ubiquitin ligase that controls progression through mitosis and the G1 phase.
APC/C mediates degradation of anaphase inhibitors, mitotic cyclins, and spindle-associated proteins to ensure proper sequence of mitotic events.
APC10 may regulate substrate binding to the APC/C complex, similar to coactivators.
