Target Information
ATCH (Adrenocorticotropic Hormone, ACTH)은 부신피질을 자극하는 주요 호르몬으로, 전엽에서 분비됩니다.
이 호르몬은 전구체 단백질인 Proopiomelanocortin (POMC)의 절단을 통해 생성되며, MSH, ACTH, β-endorphin 등의 여러 펩타이드가 함께 형성됩니다.
ACTH는 시상하부에서 분비되는 Corticotropin-Releasing Hormone에 의해 조절되며, 주로 글루코코르티코이드(예: 코르티솔)의 분비를 자극합니다.
Mineralocorticoid(예: 알도스테론)의 조절에는 거의 관여하지 않습니다.
