Target Information
Gas2는 인간 유전자 GAS2에 의해 암호화된 313개의 아미노산 단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 세포사멸(apoptosis) 과정에서 caspase의 기질로 작용하며, caspase-3 및 caspase-7에 의해 Asn278에서 절단됩니다.
절단된 형태는 actin 세포골격의 재배열을 유도하고 세포 형태에 변화를 일으킵니다.
Gas2는 세포막 주위에서 actin 섬유와 공위치하며, 성장 정지된 섬유아세포에서 스트레스 섬유를 따라 분포합니다.
G0–G1 전이 단계에서 serine 잔기에 인산화되며, 과인산화 시 세포막 주름 부위에 축적됩니다.
Gas2는 간, 폐, 신장에서 높은 수준으로 발현됩니다.
