Target Information
Reelin is an extracellular matrix serine protease that plays a key role in neuronal layering within the cerebral cortex and cerebellum. It regulates microtubule function and neuronal migration, influencing sympathetic preganglionic neuron movement in the spinal cord. Reelin binds lipoprotein receptors (VLDLR, LRP8/APOER2), inducing tyrosine phosphorylation of DAB1 and modulating TAU phosphorylation, which affects cell adhesion and migration.
