MPRIP (Myosin Phosphatase Rho Interacting Protein)은 미오신 인산화효소를 액틴 세포골격에 결합시켜 RhoA 및 ROCK1에 의한 세포골격 조절에 필수적입니다. 이 단백질의 결핍은 평활근 세포에서 인산화된 미오신에 의해 안정화된 스트레스 섬유의 증가를 유도하며, MRIP의 과발현 또는 F-actin 결합 영역의 과발현은 신경세포에서 스트레스 섬유의 해체를 유도합니다.
