Background
ATF5는 cAMP response element (CRE) 서열(5'-GTGACGT[AC][AG]-3')에 결합하는 전사 활성화 인자로, 신경전구세포의 신경세포 분화를 억제합니다. CCND3에 의해 전사 활성화가 증가하며, CDK4에 의해 약간 억제됩니다. bZIP 패밀리에 속하며, 1개의 bZIP 도메인을 포함합니다. DNA에 이합체 형태로 결합하며, PTP4A1/PRL-1 및 CCND3와 상호작용합니다(단, CCND1 또는 CCND2와는 상호작용하지 않음).
