Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MAK gene encodes a serine/threonine protein kinase related to kinases involved in cell cycle regulation. It is expressed almost exclusively in the testis, primarily in germ cells. Studies in mouse and rat homologs have shown localization to chromosomes during meiosis in spermatogenesis, specifically within the synaptonemal complex. Some studies also report expression in developing sensory epithelia, suggesting a broader functional role.
