Target Information

MAGED1 유전자는 melanoma antigen gene (MAGE) 패밀리에 속하며, 대부분의 MAGE 유전자는 고환을 제외한 정상 성체 조직에서는 발현되지 않는 종양 특이 항원을 암호화합니다. 그러나 MAGED1은 대부분의 정상 성체 조직에서도 발현되며, p75 neurotrophin receptor 매개 세포사멸 경로에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. 세 가지 전사 변이체가 보고되었으며, 두 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
