Target Information
EIF2a (Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2A)는 α, β, γ의 세 아단위로 구성된 이종삼합체 단백질로, 개시 메티오닐-tRNA를 40S 리보솜에 결합시켜 43S 전개시 복합체를 형성하는 데 관여합니다. 스트레스 반응 시 활성화된 단백질 키나아제에 의해 인산화될 수 있으며, 인산화된 EIF2A는 EIF2B 활성을 억제하여 구아닌 뉴클레오타이드 교환을 방지합니다.
