Target Information

HRG는 두 개의 cystatin-like domain을 포함하며 혈장과 혈소판에 존재합니다. 생리적 기능은 명확히 규명되지 않았지만, heme, 염료 및 2가 금속 이온과 결합하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. HRG는 rosette 형성을 억제하고 heparin, thrombospondin, plasminogen과 상호작용합니다. fibrinolysis 억제 및 응고 억제 감소 등의 효과로 잠재적인 prothrombotic 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자 변이는 비정상적인 histidine-rich glycoprotein 수치로 인한 thrombophilia를 유발할 수 있습니다.
