FBXL16 (F-box and leucine-rich repeat protein 16)은 SCF(SKP1-CUL1-F-box protein)-type E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제 복합체의 기질 인식 구성 요소로 추정됩니다. 약 40개의 아미노산으로 이루어진 F-box 모티프를 가지며, SKP1과 상호작용하고 다른 단백질 도메인을 통해 유비퀴틴화 표적과 결합합니다. FBXL16은 세포 주기 조절 경로에서 중요한 E2F1 조절 유전자입니다.
